Important Dates for 2011-2012 Season
- Manager Application Deadline: Must be in Board’s hands by July 10, 2010
- Player Application No Deadline – come to the tryouts and fill out the application there!
NWBA League – All Shaw Park travel teams will play in either the North West Baseball Association League or the Lanier League against local parks in North West Georgia such as Sandy Plains, Kennesaw, East Cobb, Cherokee, Hobgood, Powder Springs, Roswell, Wills Park and others. Each team will play a 20+ game schedule around NW Georgia, with half of the games at the home field at Shaw Park in addition to 10+ tournaments in the greater metro Atlanta area. Each player on a travel team will be required to meet Shaw Park spring and/or fall registration requirements (fee and proof of insurance). Other expenses associated with tournament play and travel will be supported through fundraisers, though expenses not covered by fundraisers are covered equally by each traveling team participant. Preliminary budgets will be available for each age group at tryouts.
